About Me
I am a PharmD and experienced medical communications professional based in Cypress, Texas, with more than five years of experience in clinical research, drug safety, regulatory writing, and scientific communications. My work brings together science and storytelling by turning complex medical information into clear, compliant, and engaging content for healthcare professionals, patients, and industry audiences.
In my current role as a Senior Scientific Writer and Informed Consent Editor at Houston Methodist Academic Institute, I lead the development and regulatory review of informed consent documents, clinical protocols, and grant materials. I focus on ensuring that research content is accurate, accessible, and aligned with institutional and federal standards. I also apply health literacy principles to support patient understanding and informed decision making.
Throughout my career, I have contributed to a range of content types, including educational materials, peer-reviewed publications, and promotional resources designed to support communication efforts across scientific and clinical settings. I have partnered with interdisciplinary teams to help ensure messaging is both medically accurate and audience appropriate.
Outside of work, I am a husband and proud father to a curious and energetic four-year-old daughter. I enjoy exploring local trails with my family, writing for my personal blog, watching movies, and enjoying great Thai food. My personal life keeps me grounded and inspires my belief that thoughtful, well-crafted communication can create connection, clarity, and impact. Whether I am supporting research teams or refining patient-facing materials, I bring empathy, focus, and purpose to everything I write.
